Ryan recently built a deck on the back of our house and we spend countless hours out there now! We love spending evenings outside when the sun is starting to set and its not quite as hot outside. Have dinner and a few drinks is what we are best at and we recently got the chance to try out Spanish Wines Ribera Del Duero y Rueda. I actually just recently found out I could drink wine again after having a bad allergic reaction several years ago, so I wouldn’t say I am a wine pro but I do know what wine is supposed to taste like and what I like and this wine was absolutely delicious. I can see how it would be very easy to drink the entire bottle at one sitting! I didn’t- but I wanted to! haha

For 2,000+ years, winemakers from Ribera and Rueda – located in northwest Spain and only about an hour away from Madrid – have cultivated what’s new and what’s next in every vineyard and vintage they produce. Rueda is made from Verdejos grapes which gives it a crisp flavor. It can be paired with anything from sushi to pizza to cheese and crackers. Ribera is created from Tempranillo grapes and has a bold, ripe flavor.
