Being a beauty blogger gives me the opportunity to have an excuse to try as many skin care products and lines as possible. Trust me when I say, there are many that I have tried and not necessarily “hated” but I was not a fan or it just wasn’t right for my skin so I did not share it with you guys. I know not all products work for everyone but at least you all get to see what does and doesn’t work for me, incase your skin type is similar to mine. I am oily in the summer, dry (extremely dry around my mouth) in the winter. I have very little break outs except when it is around my time of the month I do get a few bumps on my cheeks and jaw line. Other than that I have thankfully out grown my once TERRIBLE skin from high school and college!
I recently tried REDEFINE from Roden & Fields. My R+F rep, Robyn, had me take a skin quiz about what was important to me and REDEFINE is what was recommended to me at this time.
First impression was that the face wash didn’t leave my skin feeling dry and squeaky clean like my usual face washes do but I soon found out that was way better for my skin in the winter. It kept my face from pealing and getting dry around my mouth almost immediately.
The toner felt refreshing and made my face feel not quite so moisturized. I felt like it was better to put on my makeup in the morning. I used a super thin layer of the AM cream underneath my primer for my makeup. At night I piled on the PM cream and even put it on my neck and chest.
