So, lets be honest…none of us wants to be the the “ghostly” one at the beach or pool during spring and the beginning of summer when you haven’t gotten your base tan yet. This is one of the times during the year that I actually use self tanner-even more than winter–because why?! We are showing a lot more skin! Cute dresses, skirts and shorts with sandals just aren’t as cute when you are pale!! And, I don’t know about you but I have a few scars on my legs and they are way more noticeable when I am pale! Insert-self tanner. Now, I have tried many..and I mean many, and I really do like several brands but this is one that I LOVE!

The left image is before application and the right image is after– I only did my legs for this review because it was the first time I was trying it and we were visiting my parents in NC and I didn’t want to do the whole works, but I have used it one other time since then and my legs still weren’t completely warn off and it still reapplied evenly with no crazy dark spots or streaks! So you can also compare the color to my stomach!
California Tan also has other tanning products for outdoor tanning as well! I will def be using the SPF 6 Dry Oil Spray and the SPF 30 Continuous Spray on the beach this summer!

I live in MI so I definitely need some color seeing as we still have snow on the ground and it's practically April. I would love to use it for an upcoming outdoor wedding that is happening in Mid May.
