Meet Talia | Lipstick Heels and a Baby

Can you guys believe it is already July 5th??? I mean where in the heck is this summer going?

This week I am currently planning two trips for July, three trips in September and Braydon’s 4th birthday party which we are having this Saturday. Star Wars themed of course!

With so much going on in my life I have decide to take on a little help with LHB. Do not worry – I will still be posting regularly but I will also have two babes helping me out with some of my emails, photos and posts! First up – Talia. I knew Talia as a little girl growing up. We haven’t lived near each other in 15+ years but our families have always kept in touch. So – today – meet Talia – – –

1. Q: Who are your style icons?

A: I’ve never had any specific style icons. I find style inspiration everywhere from friends to fashion blogs. I tend to go for styles that are feminine and classic yet effortless. I’m not afraid of patterns or colors and I love pretty little details.

2. Q: What are your go-to style staples?

A: The perfect v-neck tee, diamond stud earrings, a great pair of jeans/shorts, and a dress. Also, you’ll never regret a LBD.

3. Q: Where is your favorite place to shop?

A: Online… and with a cup of coffee in hand. It’s funny, I never shopped online before I became a mom but now I rely on my laptop and credit card.

4. Q: What is the one brand or item you love to splurge on?

A: Definitely accessories! I invest in pieces I really love that I can wear often. I believe accessories say so much about who someone is. When it comes to accessories and timeless staples, quality is key.

5. Q: What has been your favorite/best purchase to date?

A: My Ray-Ban folding wayfarers. They fold up so small, they fit everywhere!

Talia was born in North Carolina, raised in Indiana, and moved out of state for a few years before returning to Indiana where she is currently living with her husband and son. Though living in the Midwest, she’s still a Southern girl at heart.

With a degree from Indiana University in Marketing and International Studies, Talia began her professional career in management. There, she met her husband (and love of her life) Adam. She resides just north of Indianapolis with her husband Adam, and their son Ashby.

When she’s not chasing her toddler, she enjoys traveling, fitness, cooking, and anything that allows her to use her creative side.
