In Miami, on Sunday we had a ‘Lazy Sunday BBQ’ to attend for Mara Hoffman. When I think Sunday bbq’s I think, flats, comfortable dresses and hair in a messy pony so that is exactly what I wore. The bbq was full of upbeat music, and cocktails. My favorite being the frozen rose´ or ‘froze´‘ as Mara called it – by the way, guys. BEST THING EVER! – just saying, every bbq should froze´. We sipped our frozen drinks all while catching up with friends we only get to see at events, taking pics in the photo booth, listening to the dj and over looking the yachts.
One of the biggest questions I get asked about the events I attend are if the designer is there or not? A lot of the time yes, but sometimes no. Mara Hoffman is always there tho, and honestly one of the most friendly and interactive designers I have ever met. She is willing to talk to anyone, take any pictures with anyone and is totally just chill – as you would expect.
Quick Tip: So this dress is full customizable on the length. Y’all know I am short so I had to tie the ties tight on my shoulders to wear this dress as a maxi with flats. But, by tying them lower down you can add inches upon inches to this dress to make it any length you want it!
