It has been a little while since I have had time to catch you guys up on my life! So, Hi! I am back in town and ready for things to calm down for a month or so! As always though, I am sure our schedules will fill up very quickly, especially with the holidays quickly approaching.
Anyways, as soon as I flew back in from LA, South Walton Fashion Week (SWFW) started. SWFW is our home town fashion week. It features local boutiques and emerging designers from around the area. During the long weekend the Hilton Sandestin hosted several other bloggers and myself where treated us as royalty. The kids and I checked in early on Thursday so we could explore the resort, and so I would have plenty of time to get ready once we got unpacked–of course I still ran late. I mean, are you shocked?
As we checked in (you may have seen on snapchat) we arrived to a beautiful twelfth floor Gulf view (beach front) room with a king bed, bunk beds and a sleeper couch. Our room was huge and my parents got to come into town and stay in the hotel room right beside us. We were treated with gift bags and vouchers for our stay, which I completely indulged in Starbucks with the vouchers! Thursday night was full of queso, guac, margaritas, and fashion shows. We made it an early night because it was only the beginning of the trip, and I wanted to get back to the hotel to see my parents since they had arrived while I was at the show.
Friday was full of mimosas on rooftops, a quick stop in Seaside, and about an hour of beach time before the night began. After the show we indulged, and I mean INDULGED in the absolute best wine and steak I have ever had in my life at Seagars in the Hilton! I am not kidding or exaggerating. I have been talking it up ever since to my husband, it is now at the top of our list for date nights!
Saturday we woke up early and headed down to the newly renovated Serenity By The Sea Spa and I got my first facial. I always get massages when I go to spas because I want to fully relax and pretty much just sleep, but I decided to do something beneficial for my skin and was shocked by how extremely relaxing a facial is. Well, other than the extractions, that’s not quite as relaxing! But, extractions aside, my skin still has a glow half a week later! I spent the rest of Saturday with my family since my parents had to travel back to NC early on Sunday morning. We had lots of beach and pool time with fruity cocktails and ended the night with sushi at Hadashi Sushi followed by the best Pumpkin Martini for dessert!

I used this hotel web portal website to compare prices of different hotels in Hawaii. I found a great price for a big hotel chain right in Waikiki and didn't hesitate a second to book. It saved me about 15%to the regular price on their website, a really great deal. …Very personal and yet professional service!website compares hotel prices
