I soon will be showing you guys Walker’s nursery (if we ever put the furniture together) but I wanted to go ahead and show you Braydon’s ‘big boy room.’ We converted his crib/toddler bed into a full size bed and as much as I want to say he loves it, which he does love it to play on and jump on, but he gets out of it every single night and runs into our room! I think maybe two nights he has actually stayed in the bed the entire night!!! I am not sure if it is just too easy of access to get out or he is still adjusting to our move because the two changes happened within about 2/3 weeks of each other! Regardless, it is adorable seeing this tiny little boy in this big ole bed, it’s just so sweet and it breaks my heart that one day he will be too big for this full size bed!!!
His bedding is custom made from a shop called Deeana’s Designs on etsy. She was soooo fabulous to work with! I explained the look I was going for, she showed me fabric samples and custom made the entire set for Braydon!
For the decals I was actually looking for something to add some character and design to the room without taking over my entire life trying to paint it. If anyone saw our master bedroom wall in our other house you would totally understand! I literally spent hours trying to paint a detailed design on our wall! I found these at Owl Hills on Etsy. I wanted to add something without really giving the room a “theme” so we wouldn’t have to change it in a year or so! I originally thought about anchors but decided to go with the triangles to keep it more neutral!
At the bottom of the post I tried to link most of the items in his room, if there is anything you are curious about that I didn’t link, just shoot me an email or comment on this post and I will let you know where it is from!
Also, stay tuned tomorrow for the first set of my maternity photos! 🙂
