Gel Nails at Home

I used to be the girl that had a standing apt at the nail salon every other Friday after work! I would get a pedicure and shellac so that they would both last for the 2 weeks until I had time to get back in the nail salon! Being a hairstylist, your nails lasting two weeks is HUGE!!!!!!!!!

Well, I am no longer a working girl! I am now blessed to be a stay at home mommy, but with that comes giving up some of my luxuries that used to cost me money! My husband is great about letting me go get my pedicure when my toes start looking shabby, but I just can’t justify getting my nails done too!

Presenting you, SinfulShine with Gel Tech!!! I am a huge Essie fan but I was recently introduced to this SinfulShine and I honestly am going to have a hard time going back to regular nail polish!! I find this a little upsetting because I have 68 colors of regular nail polish, but this polish has lasted so well, through dish washing, playing in the sand, doing my hair and just regular things around the house and outside and hasn’t chipped or lost its shine yet! 

This is the closest to gel and shellac that you are going to get without having to use a UV light to cure the polish! It has a self-curing polymer formula already in it! Plus, it is super affordable! Only, 2.99 at Walgreens!

Apply base coat.

Apply 2 coats of SinfulShine.

Apply top coat.

I used OPI Base and Top coat.
