Rooftop Refresh in The City

Happy Friday guys! The day I was leaving the City to head on another trip for work with Mode Media two of my roommates were throwing a rooftop brunch for a small group of about 18 bloggers.(Speaking of Mode Media, this is a whole other story for another day, if your curious to what is going on google it and about 30+ articles will pop up – insert eye roll emoji)

The view from the rooftop was so beautiful and it was even more surreal being able to look over the city on 9/11. I took a moment to go to the top terrace on the rooftop and take it all in and say a little prayer for all of those who were and still are affected daily from this one day. There is something about looking over NYC that is so powerful, surreal and breathtaking. If you have been there – you know what I mean. 

I wore this jumpsuit because one, I am obsessing over olive colors and filling my closet with it for fall and I love that the color also reminded me of eucalyptus leaves – which I am also obsessing over for home decor this fall! I know I looked so ridiculous walking through the airport tho, I changed to flats to walk through the airport until I could change my outfit and I can only image what people were thinking as I walked by!! haha
