Inside Our Kitchen

So our home tour continues! Today I am going to share with you guys our kitchen. Do not be fooled, our kitchen is not always clean and I am not going to pretend like it is!! I also considered taking Braydon’s booster seat out of his chair, and taking some of the appliances off of the counters to make it look more appealing to the eye, but that is not real life! So here is our kitchen, how we use it and how we like it! I am actually on a hunt for the perfect back splash for above our countertops. I have had a hard time finding something I love that brings in the warmth of the countertops and the cool tones of the floor. Any suggestions are welcome!

I have to tell you about our eating area because I am kind of obsessed. Well, first I did the wainscoting by myself! I cut the angles and everything with a saw! So I am kinda proud of that! But I also love how all the pieces I picked out came together. The chairs and chandelier are from Overstock and the table and clock are from Pottery Barn. I love mixing my favorite pieces from different places that I love! I feel like it gets too much if it is all from the same place! I also am obsessed with the lights on the chandelier, the Edison bulbs put off such a warm light and it is so welcoming over the eating area!
