Happy Friday Babes! Today’s post is a little different then the norm because most of the pictures were taken with my iPhone and at night (so ignore the quality, sorry!) and also, it’s all about a local event we have once a year and it is one of my favorites! The reason most of the pictures were taken with my iPhone is because there is a lot of walking around on cobble stone in high heels and the last thing I wanted to do was drop my DSLR or fall! Sadly, the pictures of Ryan and I and all the girls, the lights were so bright in our face it was far from flattering photos (squinty eyes and holy shiny faces), so I will spare you all from sharing those! lol
Anyways, Digital Graffiti takes place every year in June in Alys Beach. Alys Beach is one of those towns that doesn’t even look real. I am not even kidding, it is all white, perfectly manicured and just magical. If you haven’t ever heard of it, look it up! It is amazing. So, since the buildings and homes are all white, it makes a beautiful backdrop to have artists from all over the world to project their art on. Most of the art is constantly moving and changing and as you walk through the cobble stone streets you stop at each piece to watch whats going on. Some of the pieces are even interactive with all the people. At the end of the walk you end at the Caliza pool, which is basically paradise, where they have a DJ, lights, bars and lots of dancing. It is pretty much amazing! I highly recommend everyone try to make it to Digital Graffiti at least once in your life!
(yes, my hair got longer over the weekend, this babe owns Bombshell Extensions and put them in for me Saturday morning)
