About a week and a half ago two of my blogger besties and I were invited to road trip to the Sonesta Resort in Hilton Head Island. It may be hard to believe, since I grew up not too far from Hilton Head Island in North Carolina, but this was my first time there. We always just stayed at beaches a little further north and never made it quite that far down on the coast. When we arrived I instantly could feel the small community feel that is so perfect for families!
When we arrived (almost late of course, we are 3 bloggers) we were greeted immediately, had our car unloaded and were escorted to our beautiful hotel rooms. We changed and got cleaned up for dinner and met the Director of Sales for a delicious dinner full of appetizers that included oysters, shrimp, ceviche and more. We then all ordered our dinner and every one got a filet except for myself – I am a seafood girl 100% so I got the salmon! I have to tell you guys – if you head there you have to get their signature drink, the Blood Orange Mojito. This became a quick staple to each day in the resort for us!
Since we had been traveling all day and we were eating at one of the more casual restaurants in the resort I wore these white skinny crops, cold shoulder top and finished it with amazing white tassel earrings.

The next morning we were up bright and early to head over to the Hilton Head Health Spa and Resort for a healthy and delicious breakfast and to tour the town. One of my favorite stops was grabbing a Starbucks and watching all the boats come and go. After all – I am a coastal girl at heart. I wore this gorgeous lace romper and brought this fringe wrap to put over my shoulders for when I got cold. We all know I am used to the Florida heat!
