30a Wine Fest

One of the many things I love about where we live is all of the community events we are constantly having. There is always sometime going on every single weekend and while we can’t make it to all of them, I have my few favorites that I make sure I do not miss. One of them being the 30a Wine Fest in Alys Beach. Alys Beach is a very small beach town lined with palm trees, cobble stone streets and white homes. The reason I say white homes is because every single building and house in the town is white. Don’t believe me? Look it up here! It is the most luxurious simplicity you will ever find. 

Night one of 30a Wine Fest consisted of Beer and Bourbon. Yes, of course wine was there too! Many venders from both local and afar gathered to bring their taste to Alys. We discovered so many new brands and types of bourbon and even beer that we had no idea existed. 

So what to wear to an event there there will be wine flowing, cobble stone streets and all white buildings? Well, night one I went with this cold shoulder floral number. I love the accents of the wine colors with the blue and it totally popped against the white walls we were surrounded by. I paired it with stone gray suede boots and a thick heel – KEY with the cobble stone, no need to break your ankle walking on stilts – and a stone coated canvas gray cross body.
