Thank you Tiny Love for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own!
You are so excited, your baby is 5 months old, has learned to sit up on their own and totally enjoys making loop after loop in Target or Home Goods while you browse. They are just happy to be out and about and looking around.
Your baby then turns 8 months old and now needs a snack, a toy to hold, or something to keep them satisfied in that cart, on a walk, of at brother’s soccer game to keep them from crawling onto the field.
Now your baby is 12 months old, they are crazy. Changing their diaper, locking them in the stroller or car seat or keeping them on the blanket at brothers games seems like an impossible task. Trust me I know, I have been through it three times! I have learned that I always need something to keep Charli’s attention at all times, and for when she gets tired of one thing – I need a back up!!
Just a few months ago, we were introduced to Tiny Love® brand. I believe every baby product needs to be tested for a while before reviewing (in which I did) but, I immediately fell in love because every Tiny Love® toy or product is created with the 7 Developmental Wonders in mind. This is a comprehensive set of guidelines for various baby development milestones and a tool to help parents grow with their babies.
Cognition – Cognitive skills are the mental processes through which we understand our world. Understanding the stages of cognitive development can help you guide your child through the wondrous adventure of learning.
Language & Communication – Language and other forms of communication enable us to share our ideas, thoughts and feelings.
Fine Motor Skills – Fine motor skills are related to the hand, palm and finger muscles as well as to the muscles surrounding the mouth and eyes. As baby grows, it is important to ensure that fine motor skills develop in sync with emotional and physical maturity.
Senses – Through our five senses, we receive information from our surroundings and process it through our cognitive skills. Our senses open the world before us and help expand the scope of our understanding at every turn.Gross Motor Skills – Gross motor skills are related to the muscles in charge of the less delicate functions our bodies perform, such as sitting, crawling, walking and more. Learn all about this significant aspect of baby’s physical development.
Imagination & Creativity – Imagination is our ability to mentally produce images, ideas, thoughts and even feelings that do not exist in reality and that are not available to our senses. Creativity is the process of transforming imagination into reality and the ability that allows us to improvise, take initiative and solve problems.
Emotional Intelligence (EQ) – Social and emotional intelligence has a profound influence on future success. Understanding the basics of EQ can help you encourage your child’s emotional development and create a healthy basis for growing and learning.
Oh, also, each collection features the Tiny Pioneers family that inspires exploration and discovery, inspired by real historic pioneers including Christopher Columbus (Christopher the Fox), Thomas Edison (Thomas the Rabbit) and Emilia Earhart (Emilia the Bird)
The play mats from each collection are uniquely versatile with adjustable moving arches that adapt to baby’s age and stage, encouraging the development of fine and gross motor skills. Charli loves having snacks and playing on her mat in the backyard, while I am working or at Braydon’s Tball games! The Marie Jumpy has also become a favorite that we carry around with us to restaurants and everywhere else we go! It is also great because it has a claw clip and can attach on to pretty much anything, including the highchair!
