If you guys follow along on my snapchat and instagram, you witnessed what was life in paradise. We had the chance to stay at 30A’s newest luxury condo vacation rental property, The Pointe on 30A. When looking for a location to stay, we knew we wanted to be somewhere extremely convenient for our annual 30A Songwriters Festival. For this festival the venues are spread out throughout the 30A highway; with a lot of them being clustered on the eastern end of the highway. We wanted to be able to attend several venues a day while still being able to conveniently head back to our room to change, grab something to eat, or let the boys nap. The location of The Pointe on 30A was one of our first selling points – but far from one of the only.
When we arrived at this luxury – which might actually be an understatement – property we were greeted with beverages, sushi, and cupcakes. We checked in and took a quick tour of the property. I am not sure that our jaws were lifted off of the floor until we were settled in our room for a good hour or so. Everywhere we turned we were impressed with something that always caught our eye.
As you walk onto the property from the gorgeous lobby – which by the way, the decor and furniture in there is amazing – I told Ryan about 30 times that day “oh look babe, we need this for our house!” You then walk through the sliding glass doors wall to the pool. The pool was more than your average resort pool it was calm, peaceful, relaxing and enormous. The boys naturally wanted to dive right in to this huge heated bathtub. We really loved that it had several areas in the pool for adults to sit which also doubles as a place that our kids can touch! We quickly finished our tour and headed up to our room to change into our bathing suits so the boys could jump in.
Our view from the room over looked the the pool and a spacious grassy area with enough room for a toddler kickball game. The boys loved sitting on the balcony, and people watching while eating their snacks. Our room had two bedrooms – there is a 1, 2, and 3 bedroom option. The room was filled with modern furniture, and a full kitchen – which is so perfect when you are vacationing with children for a full week… we all know that going out to eat with kids is not always the most relaxing experience. I also loved that we had a full fridge and cabinets to keep the boys milk, cereal, and snacks in for breakfast!
Going back to the location of the property. Ya’ll – we did not get in our car from the moment we checked in until two days later when we checked out! It was so nice! We not only avoided any parking issues at the event venues, we also got to spend so much time outdoors getting fresh air. Not to mention, this pregnant lady got in some exercise! We were walking distance to both Rosemary Beach and 30Avenue as well as the beach. We actually ended up walking all the way through Rosemary Beach and Seagrove to Alys Beach, for one of the performances at the Caliza Pool.
Ryan and I are going to be planning a mini staycation baby moon this spring before we welcome our sweet little girl into the world. We have already decided on our location, The Pointe on 30A of course. Now, our hardest decision will be which delicious restaurant to go to each night!
