Summer Essentials At Nordstrom

Hey y’all!! If there is one thing I am a sucker for, it’s a good one piece, beach bag and adorable sunnies. Pretty much, any summer essential. I don’t necessarily think it is because I live at the beach, because I have ALWAYS been this way. But, I can tell you, the obsession has grown and it is real. For years, Nordstrom has been my go to for summer essentials. They have the best brands ranging from all price points.

Some of my favorite brands to shop for summer essentials at Nordstrom are:

When putting together this post – I couldn’t decide on one summer look, because my looks change daily depending on my mood. So I decided to break it up into three different categories..depending on your personality.

BRIGHT

If someone asked me to describe my style. It would be hard for me to put it into one word. I LOVE colors but, I also LOVE neutrals, and typically – I mix both together. This bright yellow one piece fits TTS (I am wearing a small) and is perfect for me while chasing the kiddos, taking a walk, or even heading up to the boardwalk for a quick ice cream cone. I decided to go with a neutral bag that would go with any of my swimsuits this summer, so I could use it over and over again. Although – you really can’t beat the price point of this circle bag, coming in at under $50!

I am always a sucker for fun accessories – but fun $12 sunnies are completely on trend this summer and these cat eyes are the perfect mix of retro, classic and fun.

COLORFUL

When I ordered this one piece blocked suit online – it actually looked like two different shades of pink to me but when I got it in the mail I was pleasantly surprised it was that much better! It was a neon dream. The unfortunate thing is it sold out IMMEDIATELY – which I can see why. It is available in a two piece here, which is also adorable and if I didn’t already have this one – I would obviously order that one! The top provides the same amount of coverage as the top does on the one piece! Also, how cute are these earrings? They also come in blue!

How fun is this basket tote? I loved that it was structured, and had a hard handle. I personally love the tassel, but if it doesn’t go with my suit that day, or if I just get tired of it – it’s removable! You could also even switch it out with a new tassel next summer to make it look new!

NEUTRAL

When I walked out Ryan immediately asked me if I was going to ref a game, I laughed and said yea, it’s called a Wrestling match between our two boys. No really tho, I kinda loved it! The vertical stripes help to elongate my short torso and the straps were the perfect length to help hold the girls up and in. Plus, I loved the cutout details along the sides of the suit.

More for Ryan jokes when I walked out, he said – you cant wear an LA Dodgers hat one day and then a NY Yankees hat the next. I followed up with – I just did and of the two cities, I will be in NYC next so it’s totally acceptable. I travel to each of them typically at least once a year so – it’s fine! 🙂 Plus, unless it is Braydon playing Tball….I don’t even like baseball!

This cute little black tie cover up also comes in navy and white gingham and is extremely flexible on the fitting depending on how many times you want the ties to wrap around! I’m wearing a size small.
