My Face Makeup

I did a post earlier on eye makeups by request and I promised I would finish it, so here is the rest of my face makeup. This still doesn’t include all of my eye shadows (which includes brow shadow) but that will seriously have to be its own post. I have an obsession with eye shadow….and nail polish, really tho..its a problem!

So here is a picture of my typical face makeup. Yes, I have other things that I use every once in a while, but these are my go-tos.

First I wash my face and do the 3 steps of Obagi before I do anything with makeup. There is a previous post on my skincare regimen!

I apply the Sephora anti-shine primer all over. I have tried EVERY primer on the market and this one is my favorite. It is not too drying and not too shiny, not too matte and not to sticky. I Love It!!! 

Then I apply the Dr. brandt pores no more JUST TO MY NOSE and blend into my cheeks..barely. This is way too drying to put all over my face, and within 10 minutes of applying foundation I look like I am peeling. (your skin may be different)

Next I put one pump of the HD Makeup Forever Foundation on the lid. One pump is ALL you will need so it doesn’t cake on! I then use the Sephora airbrush precision foundation brush 56 to apply. I dip my brush in the foundation and dot it all over my face and blend in until smooth. Work easy around the neck and smile lines, you do not want any creases or lines!

I also use Makeup Forever’s concealer (small tube to the left of the foundation) around my eyes. I use color 325.

Then I apply bare minerals lightly all over just to smooth everything out and give it a setting finish. I barely dip the brush in the powder, this is just to set, not to cover up anymore. 

I then use Benefit Dandelion right above my cheek bone to highlight and add shimmer..LOVE THIS..and it smells good. If you smelt good you are prob thinking “weird”….. I know.

For my bronzer and contour I use Mac bronzer, my color is Deep Dark. I also like the Laguna bronzer by Nars. I contour under my jaw line, my chin, under cheek bones, sides of nose, and around hairline/temples

Nars Orgasm blush is to die for. Anyone that has used it knows it and loves it, that is all I need to say about this one!

These are all I use on my face on a daily basis. I do switch it up every once in a while, but like I said in my eye makeup post, this is what I am using for now!

These are the brushes I use with these products. They are all either Sephora, Mac, Bare Minerals, Urban Decay, Elf or Aveda. My brow pencil is so old that I can not read what brand it is! It’s the wooden one (the second from the bottom). I am not saying this is all you need, but these will absolutely be plenty for everyday makeup!!!
