Stocked up on our favorite @raoshomemade sauces and pasta while at @Target this week and couldn’t wait to make one of our favorites, baked Ziti! #ad The best part about this recipe is you can make it and bake it right away or you can make it earlier in the day or even the day before and store it in the fridge until you are ready to make it! #TargetPartner
Fay Family Baked Ziti
What you need:
1 jar of Rao’s Homemade Marinara
1 package of Rao’s Homemade Penne Rigate
1 lb of grass-fed beef
1/2 lb of Italian sausage
2 cups of Mozzarella
1 egg
15 oz of ricotta
3/4 cup Parmesan
Fresh Basil
-Cook pasta Al Dente
-While pasta is cooking, mix together ricotta, 1 cup of mozzarella, and egg.
-Stir in Rao’s Homemade sauce
-Brown meats and mix into above mixture of cheese and sauce.
-Pour over pasta in a 9×13 non stick pan.
-Top with other cup of mozzarella and Parmesan.
-Bake at 375° for 20-30 minutes (depending how crispy you like your cheese and edges.
-Sprinkle fresh chopped basil on top.
