Our Big Cozy Bed

Pretty much any person I know is in love with their bed. It is your sanctuary where your mind and body rest and recollect for the next day. It is where you go for comfort, go to relax, and go to spend time and snuggle with your spouse. Don’t get me wrong – we have always loved our beds – I wouldn’t sleep on a mattress every night if I didn’t love it. But, I do not know that we were ever as IN LOVE with our bed as we should be.

When Muse Mattress via Viscosoft reached out about us testing out one of their mattresses, I was all ears. I got the response from Ryan “whats wrong with our mattress we have now?” So, I took that as an opportunity to get my very own dream bed! That being said – Ryan has slept on wooden planks, the ground in the forest, etc. in the military, so he could sleep on ANYTHING honestly!

We started our mattress selection process with their Sleep Personality Quiz. This asks a series of questions on behalf of both you and your partner so that you can find the exact mattress that fits both of your needs. If it is just you in the bed you can select that option at the beginning of the quiz. This isn’t a one size fits all type of situation. Our quiz came up with the results that we needed their soft mattress. Another thing we loved about this mattress is that it can be put on any surface, box spring, flat platform, slats, and even the floor!

Our mattress arrived in a small rectangle box rolled up. When we first opened it it up it looked as if they had rolled up a twin mattress due to all of the air being completely removed out of the mattress. We unwrapped and unrolled the mattress and it immediately began to grow – it kind of reminded me of those small sponge toys we had as kids that would expand and grow once they hit the water. The directions told us to let the mattress rise and rest for 2 hours before sleeping on it – luckily we opened it around dinner time so we had several hours to spare.

Ryan and I were both so nervous for our first night on our new mattress but we were more than impressed. When our dreaded alarm went off at 6:45 we both rolled over and asked how the other one slept and we were both on cloud 9, we had slept great! So this is what it is like to be completely in love with your bed!

One Month Later….

Hi guys!! I am coming back today to share with you life lately with our new Muse. Other than our 3.5 foot 4 year old that jumps in the bed with us between 3-5 am we are sleeping amazing! We still absolutely love our bed. I even find myself finding ways to read, work, and catch up on the phone all in the comfort of our bed. Our bed has also become the boys favorite place to watch movies after school and/or dinner!
