Hello ya’ll! I hope you guys had the best weekend! You guys seemed to really enjoy the style guide with the sneakers from last week so I thougth it would be fun to do another style guide with booties! Booties are another style of shoe I gravitate towards. I feel like they look great with any outfit and in my opinion are much more comfotable to wear than a pair of heels. Scroll down to see booties style with several different types of outfits!
…with leggings
Faux leather leggings are here to stay all fall and winter. They are great to wear with long sweatshirts, sweaters and cardigans. Adding a little height with a pair of blocked heel booties elongates your legs for a slimmer look.
…with shorts
This one can be a little trickier because you don’t want to look too scandalous, but with a lower heel and shorts that cover your entire booty, this can be a super cute look. Tip, pointy toe booties will help make your legs look longer and slimmer. I also LOVE booties with rompers, which I went ahead and threw into the shorts catagory as well!
…with jeans
I have always loved booties with skinny jeans. Either cropped or cuffed right above the booties or tucked into the boot. But, with wider leg pants coming back into style – I really love the way a point or rounded toe bootie looks with them!
…with a skirt
Another fave way to wear my booties, but same with the shorts – make sure the skirt is long enough to wear with whatever heel height you pick. The longer the skirt, the higher the heel – and of course the shorter the skirt the shorter the heel. Also, another rule of thumb I typically go by (there are always exceptions of course) If I am showing off my legs, I am more modest on my top. But, I am also a firm believer in, you do you girl!
….with a dress
This may be my most common way I style my booties. To me, a dress and pair of booties just make sense – but I know not everyone may feel that way! I prefer booties over heels, since it is easier to find them with a block or wider heel but still gives you that added height. If you are tall – you could always get a smaller heel. White booties are really in for this fall and I am LOVING this pair because they hit at the calves opposed to the ankles!
