Hey ya’ll! And happy almost Easter! We are doing things a little different this year and I am avoiding all candy other than what’s in the eggs. I originally thought I might put one or two bigger candy pieces in the basket. But realized – they truly don’t need that extra sugar and the egg hunt candy will be plenty! Speaking of which – do you guys do Easter Egg hunts with your kids? My parents always did them with my brother and I, so I have always just kind of held that tradition and so my kids have always done them as well.
I tried to get some things that I the kids needed anyways and I actually got a few extra things that aren’t on this list such as new book bags, new lunch boxes, and I am going to get them a newer water/sand table. Theirs from last summer is quite a bit faded and could use a replacing!
1 | Books
Charli loves this book!! Our kids always love books that are somewhat interactive. I also order the personalized books, found here most holidays as well!
2 | Beach Towel
I died when I saw this one! I mean can this get any cuter?!?! We are always in need of new beach towels, especially when we go to the beach two days in a row!! Beach towels are a good way of getting your kids excited about your upcoming beach trip too!
3 | Sand Toys | Pool Toys
We are always loosing sand toys, plus they just get beat up using them every weekend so we restock them yearly!! If you don’t live at the beach, you could do pool floats and toys!
4 | Bathing Suit
Charli already owns this bathing suit, but I also found it in pink here. I also linked a one of our other favorite suits plus the one I ordered this year!
5 | Sandals
I have to replace our boy’s sandals a few times a year, either from wear and tear or because they outgrow them so quickly! We have had the most success and comfort with Rainbows, so that is what I always go with!
6 | Bathing Suit Coverup
These are amazing because they also double as towels. The kids love when their beach towels have fun stuff on them too – so this was a win-win!
7 | Stuffed Animal
I am not sure why, but this is the only time of year I buy my children stuffed toys – other than a random Disney trip souvineer. I always just feel compelled to buy the cute soft bunnies!
8 | Water Wow Books
These are truly a moms dream come true. They can be used over and over again and there is zero mess. Amazing for travel and in restaurants!
9 | Native Shoes
I love these for the boys and Charli. They are perfect to wear out and about and I don’t have to worry if they get them wet or want to slip them off and on.
10 | Puzzle
The boys love puzzles and right now most of their puzzles are animal related or something like paw patrols. I decided to get this oversized map puzzle hoping they will learn and educate themselves as they are playing.
