So yeah, of course. Thanksgiving would be one of my favorite holidays because it has to do with food, get togethers with families and friends, food, a chill in the air, and more food. But on top of that – the Holidays are the time of year we have the most family traditions. One of which is putting our phones, tablets, and remote control down and getting out for some real and quality family time.
We recently finished our back yard and are loving spending any and every free moment we have out there. During Thanksgiving week the boys have the week off of school and Ryan gets a few extra days off of work – so we love getting together and having a backyard football tournament. This will be our 2nd annual tourney!! We play one game three days in a row to get the winner for the year! This year – Walker and I are on a team and Ryan and Braydon are on a team ((oldest and biggest VS the youngest and smallest – seems fair right?)) Thank goodness us little ones are feisty! Ha!
Ryan and I typically play barefoot because we don’t want to step on the boys toes but I recently found these new all terrain traction for superior grip and flexibility. Another feature I was looking for? Shoes the boys can get on and off themselves – and the easy fasten adjustable strap closure make these shoes just that. What shoes would I be talking about? JambuKD. JambuKD shoes feature All Terra Traction, meaning they are meant to be worn on all surfaces. So they are perfect for running from our artifical turf to our basketball court and even on the beach – since the material is water ready and dries quickly. Another reason I chose to get these for football is because they have shielded toe guards just incase we step on any of the little guys toes. The boys loved the vibrant colors and the fact they can put them on all by themselves.
The best part is these shoes will be able to be worn year round since they are all terrain and made to get wet! What are some of your families favorite Holiday traditions? Leave them in the comments below – we are always looking for new traditions to add into the mix!
